Younis Dhaher is an Iraqi-born, Chicago-based comedian, storyteller, artist, and writer. Born in Baghdad and raised in the Midwest, he performs stand-up in Arabic and English, writes for television and film, and releases music as YOUNIS, creating autobiographical work across stages, screens, records, and the page with one autobiographical center.

He performs stand-up in Arabic and English, has appeared at Netflix Is A Joke Festival, has featured for Sammy Obeid on the road, and has featured for 21 Savage, Russell Peters, Maz Jobrani, and Ahmed AlBasheer. He was the first Iraqi-American to perform stand-up comedy in Jordan’s history at the Cultural Palace. He writes for television and film and releases music as YOUNIS, including DRAWING BLANKS and ’92 Barcelona.
